Fast food as what it states is a food that is already been prepared beforehand and heated when needed. There are a lot of fast food chains globally as people needed a place where food is prepared fast and hot, it was a no-brainer that fast food became an instant hit.  Topped it with great presentation, delicious food, great ads and the rest was history.

People had always been warned about fast foods, that it isn’t healthy. But can you blame them for making it part of their lives? Japanese has these vending lifestyle, Koreans has this convenience store lifestyle while other westernized countries have Jollibee, McDonald’s, Taco Bell, Wendy’s and many more.

How fast food changes your life has been long answered. Just look it up online and you will see hundreds and thousands of articles and blogs. Telling you that fast food is delicious and it’s the answer to the people’s need in a fast-paced environment for their hunger  that is easily accessible, but it’s also not good for your body.

It’s the calories:

The main killer in fast food are the calories. Fast food are high in calories that can easily make you fat. You eat a big mac, you need at least 4 – 6 hours of runtime to burn that food. This is the reason why in the city where fast food is easily accessible, there are more people that are unhealthy. All because they are eating high-calorie foods every day.

It’s also about the salt:

Fast food is high in salt, and this is the number one killer in a fast food meal. Eating foods high with salt for long periods of time can lead to serious heart and kidney problems. Salt in high amounts can affect the rhythm of the heart and it’s the kidneys number one enemy. This is the reason why, if you plan to live long, as much as you can avoid fast food, start eating healthy foods and drink more water.

It’s actually ok to eat fast food once in a while:

It’s not bad to indulge in fast food, especially if there’s really no decent food around. But never eat fast food every day because even if you’re young, there had been people in their early 30s that got diagnosed with heart problems and kidney problems because of their fast food lifestyle. Eat once in a while, cheat days or if there’s really nothing available, as much as you can eat healthily. Your job is not an excuse not to eat healthily you know.

Exercise your way to health:

Exercise has always been associated with being healthy. If you want to burn those calories, the best way to do it is to sweat it out. If you don’t have time to go to the gym because of your busy schedule, how about you bring your gym clothes and after your shift, you run outside, or instead of driving you can ride a bike to work instead. You save mother nature, you burn calories and you get a more toned body and a flatter belly.

Change to a healthy diet:

A good healthy diet is the best way to be healthy along with a proper exercise. If you don’t have time to prepare food, go to a place where they serve healthy food instead. If you think you lack the time to wait for your food in “regular” restaurants, then order salads instead. If you don’t like salads, find one that does deliveries. With a ton of food selections today, it’s not that hard to find especially in the city.

Start to change now:

Never wait to change your lifestyle when you already have a disease, keep in mind that prevention is always better than cure. The earlier that you change your lifestyle, the easier that you will be able to make it as a way of life. To get healthy in no time, It’s all about limiting or avoiding unhealthy stuff and doing healthy stuff.

  • Have a regular exercise
  • Have a well-balanced meal
  • Eat food that is low salt and low fat

Better ads, popular endorsers, 24/7 service, fast service, eye candy meals, sinfully indulgent food and hot. But these are also the reason why most people in the city are unhealthy because the food is high in salt and calorie, just to even mention a few of its damaging elements. This is the reason why one must not indulge in these foods too much because it’s not healthy in the long run.
